Goong updates at Midnight
Konichiwa everyone! (Didn't know the Korean greeting so I tried something that is close) Couldn't sleep, so I decided to give an update about my life and the drama Goong because it just ended yesterday on Channel U. Let's get on with it then.
Still lazing around the house watching TV and reading. More ideas and inspirations for poetry are coming up in my head though, so I take it as a good sign. Though it doesn't excuse me from NOT starting my homework. Well, whatever!! My last sister Menakah is getting back her PSLE results tomorrow so she's really anxious about it. (I seriously don't see what she has to be anxious about, since it's just PSLE. I know I'm supposed to sympatise with her more because it's her first major exam but I can't. Maybe I'm just jealous or being a big moronic asshole. I don't prefer to be either. Haha) Anyway, I still wish her the best. Meanwhile, my second sister Prasana is driving me up the wall asking me for suggestions on activities she can carry out as a senior for her NPCC training camp. What am I supposed to know about NPCC??? But I try to be supportive and listen to her constant ranting. I'm a nice brother, ain't I? (Just say YES)
Now about Goong. The last episode yesterday was quite allright. Yul took the blame for the arson attack and as a result, he and his mom has to once again leave the palace and live overseas. Meanwhile, Shin gave up the throne to his sister, so now he and Chae-gyung are just ordinary royalty. (Can royalty ever be ordinary? I wonder...) Chae-gyung is currently leading a care-free life in Macau persuing her dreams and Shin drops in for a visit. They get mushy, Shin proposes, they get married again and Chae-gyung gets pregnant. Nice way to end actually, but I heard Channel U cut down some parts of the ending to make it shorter. What a bummer. It was still ok though, so no worries. I heard there was a Goong 2 coming up next year featuring a new cast (rather like a spin-off of the first one than a sequel)and they have started shooting since September. I hope it's as good as the original, or even better. I've become such a Korean drama fan! Yayness to the max...
And now to prove my point about the adorable Goong bears, here is a special showcase just for you.

But firstly, the actual main cast. Shin, Chae-gyung, Yul and Hyo-rin all in royal outfits.

The main cast again in highschoolwear.

The Goong Girls. Haha. Which one do you think is hotter? (I personally prefer Hyo-rin, although Chae-gyung is pretty cute...)
Now get yourselves ready for... The Goong Bears!!!

The main cast bears in royal outfits. They look cute with the wineglasses and all.

Announcing the arrival of their Highnesses the Crown Prince and Princess! Shin and Chae-gyung bears newly married in their royal wedding outfits.

My all time favourite, the main cast bears in highschool wear. Aren't they absolutely fabulous?!? Foreground is Shin bear with his schoolbag seen with Hyo-rin bear while behind him is Chae-gyung bear in sweatpants and behind her is Yul bear with a bouquet. (Remember the love square thing? It was that scene being featured)

Chae-gung and Shin bears in a scene where they were at the Hall of Virtue. (Looks a bit sick doesn't it? I mean, the positions and whatnot...) But they still look adorable in the costumes!
Well, what did I tell ya? It's work of art, those teddies. The production team must have been pretty creative to come up with them. Really aesthetically pleasing. (Wow, I'm so chim!) All pictures courtesy of AsianFanatics.net gallery.

Before I forget, this was a fanfic done by someone of Chae-gyung and Yul. I took it from a blogskin design. The words are very touching, especially since Yul cannot get the girl he loves in the end...*sighs*
Ok then, I guess it's time to sleep. My eyes are feeling heavy already so I'll stop here for now. Sayonara peeps! (And don't forget to take your teddy to bed if you have one. Hehe. I'm getting lamer by the day)
